Set in historic downtown Omaha, the Peregrine Hotel is a subset of Hilton’s Hotel Indigo boutique hotel division. Our team was tasked with developing two distinct dining destinations inside this gorgeous hotel. The main dining concept would be elevated but traditional, with the second concept (a rooftop bar serving small bites) taking the form of a tiki bar. Not only did the identities need to tie back to the hotel but the branding for each space also needed to live cohesively with one another in order to provide a cohesive and thoughtfully-considered experience for guests.

The Peregrine falcon became our inspirational figurehead. Balancing a sense of macabre with western-luxe, the primary logo and complimentary monogram for the main restaurant resemble classic gilded seals of a bygone era. To further convey that no detail of the guest experience has gone unnoticed, we sourced a variety of high-end presentation touchpoints including gold-foil embossed cellulose coasters, custom wood-block check presenters, and a show-stopping brass menu board, engraved with the Habitat logo. As the first rooftop bar in Omaha, "The Takeoff" was a winning compliment in both name and concept to the property. The primary logo was crafted with a hand-drawn script featuring an illustrated parrot perched along the wordmark. Additional custom illustrations including a flamingo, a parrot in flight, a tropical beverage, and a “Bon Voyage” message give a playful flexibility to the visual identity system, accented by a lush green and vibrant pink color palette. Additionally, our team consulted on menu development for both concepts working to refine the offering, strategically scripting menu verbiage, and crafting beautifully designed, intuitive suites for each space.
